From navigating divorce in her early twenties; migrating across the globe; facing breast cancer and choosing to live flat after a double mastectomy; choosing sobriety after being known as the "Winey Mum,"; receiving a late ADHD diagnosis while being thrown into medical menopause; parenting neurodiverse children without an extended family village; and building a six-figure business on her own terms - Becky knows that every one of us is climbing something. No Everest required.
With 27 years of experience in community engagement, an FRSA Fellowship, and a performing arts background that gives her genuine stage presence, Becky's keynotes blend humour, vulnerability, practical wisdom and powerful storytelling. Audiences don't just listen. They laugh, reflect, feel seen - and leave ready to show up differently.
Becky speaks to a range of audiences with a flagship keynote and tailored versions for corporate, government and community sectors. All are grounded in the same truth: real life is enough. Topics include, but aren't limited to -

Ten principles developed through lived experience, professional practice and over two decades of listening to communities. Not a self-help checklist. A way of being.

Own Your Story
If you say it with confidence, people believe you.
Remember You're Going to Die, So Live Properly
Aging isn't the problem. Not getting the chance to age is.
Follow Your Heart, But Bring Your Brain With You
You can leap - just don't switch your brain off on the way down.
Normalise the Life You Want
Don't rely on willpower - change what feels normal.
Speak Up, Even When It's Uncomfortable
Silence keeps things exactly as they are.
You Don't Need Permission
No one is coming to tap you on the shoulder and say 'go on then.
Redefine Success on Your Terms
Success isn't the ladder - they sold you that.
Feel It All
The goal isn't happiness. It's aliveness.
Build Your People
We don't do life alone - we just pretend we do.
Become the Person You Needed
Be the example you were once searching for.

Looking for a keynote that opens hearts, not just minds — and sends people home talking.
Ready to move beyond leadership clichés and reconnect their people with what it means to be human at work.
Needing a speaker who understands complex systems and the emotional labour of public service.
Wanting to celebrate, sustain and re-energise people doing purpose-led work that takes a toll.
Seeking a speaker who is warm, funny, raw and deeply real — not polished, not perfect, not beige.
Looking for substance behind the message — a speaker who has actually lived it, not just read it.
