ABOUT BECKY

She hasn't climbed Everest. She's climbed real life.

Many inspirational keynote speakers have climbed mountains or stood on Olympic podiums. Becky Hirst hasn't done those things. But she has climbed the mountains of everyday life.

From navigating divorce in her early twenties; migrating across the globe; facing breast cancer and choosing to live flat after a double mastectomy; choosing sobriety after being known as the "Winey Mum,"; receiving a late ADHD diagnosis while being thrown into medical menopause; parenting neurodiverse children without an extended family village; and building a six-figure business on her own terms - Becky knows that every one of us is climbing something. No Everest required.

With 27 years of experience in community engagement, an FRSA Fellowship, and a performing arts background that gives her genuine stage presence, Becky's keynotes blend humour, vulnerability, practical wisdom and powerful storytelling. Audiences don't just listen. They laugh, reflect, feel seen - and leave ready to show up differently.

THE FRAMEWORK

A Guide to

Living Properly.

Ten principles developed through lived experience, professional practice and over two decades of listening to communities. Not a self-help checklist. A way of being.

01

Own Your Story

If you say it with confidence, people believe you.

02

Remember You're Going to Die, So Live Properly

Aging isn't the problem. Not getting the chance to age is.

03

Follow Your Heart, But Bring Your Brain With You

You can leap - just don't switch your brain off on the way down.

04

Normalise the Life You Want

Don't rely on willpower - change what feels normal.

05

Speak Up, Even When It's Uncomfortable

Silence keeps things exactly as they are.

06

You Don't Need Permission

No one is coming to tap you on the shoulder and say 'go on then.

07

Redefine Success on Your Terms

Success isn't the ladder - they sold you that.

08

Feel It All

The goal isn't happiness. It's aliveness.

09

Build Your People

We don't do life alone - we just pretend we do.

10

Become the Person You Needed

Be the example you were once searching for.
